We are looking for an experienced Legal Director to join a rapidly growing investment firm specializing in active ownership strategies across Continental Europe and Scandinavia. This executive role is a unique opportunity to lead legal and regulatory matters in a dynamic financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal counsel on Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), from launch to liquidation.
Advise on Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
Engage with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Draft and review key legal documents (Limited Partnership Agreements, Side Letters, Subscription Agreements, etc.).
Ensure full AML/CFT compliance and oversee legal risk management.
Negotiate and finalize agreements related to AIFM, administration, and depositary services.
Oversee corporate law matters, including the formation and liquidation of legal entities (SCS, S.à r.l.).
Stay updated on evolving regulations to maintain compliance and best practices.

Profile:

Law degree and admission to the bar in Luxembourg, Germany, or another relevant jurisdiction.
7+ years of experience in financial services law, corporate law, and investment funds.
Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate structures, AIFM regulations, and AML/CFT requirements.
Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
Fluency in English and German (additional languages are a plus).
