Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be in charge of managing the financial health of the group of companies and will be more precisely responsible of:
- Overseeing and managing the overall financial agenda
- Performing financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and optimizing the financial health of the companies
- Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
- Advising on investment activities and assisting management to take financial decisions, including regular participation to Investment Committee meetings
- Supervision, management and support of accounting service provider, including preparation of input data, review of interim and annual statutory accounts, regular interaction with service providers
- Communication with company’s auditors and tax authorities where required
- Preparing data and reports required at Group level, with the opportunity to support and contribute to the Group‘s consolidation process
- Assistance in the preparation of corporate tax returns with the local tax service provider and the Group’s tax team, including preparation of input data, review of calculation and methodology used, communication with the service provider
- Dealing with other tax matters with the support of the Group‘s tax team in cooperation with external tax advisors as need be, including support to the Group’s tax team in the context of the implementation of Pillar 2 requirements
- Overseeing and managing Group-wide Transfer Pricing studies, with the support of the Group’s tax team
- Close cooperation with other departments including Group representatives
- Ensuring statutory requirements are met on a timely basis
Candidate requirements:
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background
- IFRS (incl. consolidation) knowledge would represent an advantage
- Strong audit and financial accounting experience
- Desire to learn, improve and focus on developing a long- term career in a high-level financial role
- Ability to learn quickly, with good attention to detail while being able to see the big picture
- Enthusiastic and hardworking individual committed to working in a busy environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
